its' time to change our center piece on the table and get a few decorations up around the Shack.

I've got my house completely done and it looks so Christmasy...I love it!  Just finished wrapping more gifts, put them under the tree and now I can relax and enjoy the season.  Went to our Ladies Circle group Christmas dinner last night....good food and lots of laughs.

My thoughts are with Ruthie so much now....it's going to be a rough time for her but right before the Season, just seems it would intensify her grief.  I was glad to hear Frannie made the trip for Jay's viewing and Ruthie sounded like she so appreciated her coming and representing Jay's racing family.  We need to keep Ruthie & family in prayer regularly.

Well, I need to clean up my mess and get myself ready to do some grocery shopping....oh boy, my favorite thing!  .....NOT! Roll Eyes

I'm not doing much decorating this year, not even putting up a tree since the cats would have it destroyed in 5 minutes. Everything has to be up where they can't reach it. I talked Hayesdogg into having Christmas at his house even if I have to decorate there and haul food over it will be worth it. The kids are coming home from Laramie but I doubt we'll see them that much.  Evil

Every time I log into J.R and see Jayger's picture I feel like a knife thru my heart knowing WHY it's there. I just can't imagine WHY he did it, but it's none of our business. It's good to hear Ruthie was so pleased to see Frannie and appreciates our love and support. Cozzie will be a big support for her since she has the same thing to deal with.  Sad

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling, and everyone else is crying

Some of my home is decorated for Christmas.   My grand daughter did it over Thanksgiving.   But no tree yet.

I just took my grand daughter's cat to the SPCA for shots.   Such a good cat.  Travels well.  Never speaks.

Elaine, what a beautiful center piece !!

'Fraid this year is Bah Humbug for here. Don't think I will even bother with a tree.
Tonight is the NASCAR awards show on TV. It will be on Speed.
Starting @ 5pm EST we have the best of NASCAR 2009
@ 7pm EST we have the NNWS & NCWTS awards show
@ 9pm EST NSCS Awards show

JJ DNF'd the Victory Lap down the strip and rode home on back of pace car.
He broke an axle while doing a burn out.

OMG DL, I can't image Christmas without lights & a tree!  I have more Christmas spirit this year then I've had in a long time but usually I always get in the spirit of the season but it just seems more so this year, for some reason.  Maybe because we got to put up our big tree this year and it looks so pretty.  We have three snowmen on a sled and one standing snowman in our front yard and lights around the windows and even strung through a little tree by the door....it's beginning to look alot like Christmas here! LOL  And today there was frost EVERYWHERE...almost looked like snow.  Even the fence was competely white out in back...so pretty but dang cold!

I didn't watch much of the Awards show....saw Jeff's speech....he is such a nature with the camera's....he do well as an announcer when he retires. Smiley

Howdy shackers Crap missed the banquet oh well just not into it right now. Hoping Jr has a better year next year and maybe it will help bring my Nascar spirit back up. As far as Christmas Bah Humbug. Yes maybe I'd feel better if we were in our new house with my big tree and all my Christmas decoration. But I'm just not in the spirit here. He's hoping everyone here has a wonderful holiday season.
